PiYo Worked for Me!
I started a round of PiYo on May 13, 2015, my primary goal was to improve my flexibility and recover my body from the combination of a sedentary day job, a LOT of home DIY projects that beat up my body and a full round of INSANITY MAX:30. I wasn’t looking for weight lose or even to lose any inches, I simply wanted to be able to move better. The changes in body composition and loss of body fat (as measured by a DEXA Bone Mineral Density Scan before/after) were absolute bonus!
The great thing I noticed after completing PiYo was how much better I moved around. Things that we take for granted ‘the daily activities of life’; reaching, twisting , bending over to pick stuff up, doing yard work or chores around the house – all of those activities that require stabilization through our core and depend upon balance. Of course I’d always been able to do this, however often with limited range of motion, discomfort or some measure of concern…’will I hurt myself?’
Now I move with more strength, confidence and stability than I had when I was in my 20’s – Thank You PiYo!
